The Thieṛian Hieroglyphs were invented by Kitsune Sobo as the native script of the Thieṝ (singular Thieṛ), a bipedal feline alien species native to Ettinhome ("Giant World") in the Rhodinoverse.
The Rhodinoverse is a fictional multiverse created and illustrated by Kit, and features various species with their own distinct languages and cultures.
The origins of the Hieroglyphs (so called by outerworld linguists due to their resemblance to human hieroglyphic systems) is a mystery, although it's generally accepted that the script came about naturally. No one introduced writing to the Thieṝ, and the running theory is that the symbols developed from sigils and pictographs used to represent animistic deities and other divine beings in the ancient Thieṛian pantheon.
The Thieṛian language features glottal stops (ʔ) and syllable-final vocalic "R" sounds, which are given their own letters rather than being diacritics as would be common in other Ettinhomish scripts.

All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood. (Article 1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights)
