Blagar is a Trans-New Guinea language spoken in Pantar island in the Alor archipelago of Indonesia by about 12,000 people. The Tereweng dialect, which is spoken on Teweweng Island off the coast of Pantar, is sometimes treated as a distinct language.
c, q, sy, x and z are only used in loanwords and foreign names.
