Notes

In Bolivia, Peru, Chile and Argentina, Aymara New Year is celebrated on 21st June, which is the winter solstice in the Southern Hemisphere. This became a national holiday in Bolivia in 2009, or year 5517 in the Aymara calendar. In Aymara it is known as Willkakuti ("Return of the Sun") or Machaq Mara ("New Year").
