Qiang / Rma Script Qiang / Rma script (rrmea lehhss)

The Qiang or Rma Script is used to write the Qiang languages, which are spoken in Sichuan Province in the southwest of China. It is an abugida or syllabic alphabet and was finalised in 2017. It is the official writing system for Qiang and is accepted by many Qiang people. A number of books have been published in it. The Qiang languages are also written with the Latin alphabet.
