The Kōchi script, or Kiūnthali Lipi, developed from the Takri script. It was used to write Mahasu Pahari, a Western Pahari language spoken in the states of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand in northern India. Mahasu Pahari is now usually written with the Devanagari alphabet.
