Acazulco Otomi (Ndöö́ngüǘ yühǘ)

Acazulco Otomi is a member of the Eastern Otomian branch of the Oto-Manguean language family. It is spoken in the town of San Jerónimo Acazulco in the municipality of Ocoyoacac in the State of Mexico in southern Mexico. In 2017 about 100 to 200 people could speak Acazulco Otomi, and most are over 70 years old.

Acazulco Otomi is also known as San Jeronimo Acazulco Otomi or Ocoyoacac Otomí. It is closely related to Eastern Highland Otomi.

Efforts are being document the language and teach it in the community. Documentation will include videos, recordings, a dictionary and teaching materials.
