San Martín Itunyoso Triqui is member of the Mixtecan branch of the Oto-Manguean language family. It is spoken by about 2,000 people in the state of Oaxaca in southern Mexico, mainly in the town of San Martín Itunyoso in the district of Tlaxiaco in western Oaxaca.
San Martín Itunyoso Triqui has been recognised as a national language of Mexico since 2003. It is also known as San Martín Itunyoso Trique, Triqui Alto, Triqui de San Martín Itunyoso or Triqui de Itunyoso.
