Nanti is an Arawakan language with about 250 speakers in the the southeastern part of the Peruvian Amazon, mainly near the headwaters of the Camisea and Timpia Rivers. It is closely related to Matsigenka.
The language is also known as Kogapakori or Cogapacori. It can also be referred to as Kugapakori, which means 'violent person' in Matsigenka, and is considered derogatory.
