Casiguran Dumagat Agta

Casiguran Dumagat Agta is a Philipine language spoken near the town of Casiguran in Aurora Province in central Luzon in the Philippines. In 1989 there were about 600 speakers. The language is also known as Dumagat Agta, Casiguran Agta, Casiguran Nagtipunan Agta, or Agta, and is closely related to Paranan.

Casiguran Dumagat Agta is still acquired by children in many families, however increasing numbers of Agta speakers are marrying people from other communities who speak other languages, and Agta is often not passed on in such families.
