Central Tagbanwa (Tagbanwa / ᝦᝤᝪᝨᝯ)

Central Tagbanwa is a member of the Kalamian branch of the Philippine language family. It is spoken in the Taytay municipality in the northwest of Palawan proivince in the Philippines. In 1985 there were about 2,000 speakers of Central Tagbanwa.

Central Tagbanwa is usually written with the Latin alphabet. However the Tagbanwa script is also used to some extent. Central Tagbanwa is mutually intelligible to some extent with other varieties of Tagbanwa, and with Cuyonon.
