Tawbuid is a member of the South Mangyan branch of the Philippine language family. It is spoken in the centre of Mindoro island in the Mimaropa region of the Philippines by about 7,940 people.
There are two varieties of Tawbuid, which are classified as separate languages in some sources:
Acute accents (á) are used to indicate stress.
