Konjo is a Bantu language spoken in Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. In Uganda the language is spoken in Bundibugyo, Kabarole, Kasese and Ntoroko districts in the south west of the country. In the DRC it is spoken in Nord-Kivu province in the north. In 2014 there were 893,000 Konjo speakers in Uganda, the number of Konjo speakers in the DRC is unknown. The language is also known as Bakonzo, Bayira, Konzo, Olukonjo, Olukonzo, Rukonjo, Lhukonzo or oluKonzo.
