Luchazi (Chiluchazi)

Luchazi is a Bantu language spoken by about 431,000 people, mainly in southeast Angola, and also in Zambia and Namibia. In Anglola Luchazi has about 400,000 speakers, and is spoken in the provinces of Cuando Cubango and Moxico. There are about 29,600 Luchazi speakers in the North-Western province of Zambia, and another 1,400 in Namibia.

Luchazi is also known as Lucazi, Lujash, Lujazi, Lutchaz, Lutshase, Luxage, Ngangela or Ponda. It is officially recognized as a minority language in Angola, and is used in homes, churches and businesses.

Translation
