Ngwii (Engwíí)

Ngwii is a Bantu language spoken by about 8,000 people in Kwilu Province in the west of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). In particular, it is spoken on the left bank of the Kasai River in the Idiofa Territory in the east of Kwilu Province.

Ngwii is also known as Ngul, Ngoli, Nguli, Ingul or Engwii. There are two dialects, which are known as Engwíí édzo and Engwíí é ngye in Ngwii. It is written with the the Latin alphabet.
